Runtime Reports

How to use Runtime Reports in the Connected Portal for your business.

Updated over 9 months ago

Runtime reports track how long HVAC systems operate during specific periods of time. This can help you identify:

  • Identify overuse or underuse of equipment

  • Detect inefficiencies or abnormal patterns (e.g., a unit running continuously could indicate a malfunction)

How to Access Runtime Reports

  1. Firstly, you must have the preliminary permissions from the homeowner depending on the system (see section: Required Homeowner Permissions)

  2. Navigate to the customer's system in the Connected Portal

  3. Click the Product Details of the thermostat or wall control

  4. Click "Runtime Report"

    • Note: This report displays runtime data from the past three days. Some data may be missing due to periods when the control system was disconnected. Additionally, data granularity may vary depending on the thermostat/control's reporting frequency (e.g., every 5 minutes, every 4 hours, etc.).
